Thanks to the many illustrious film stars, members of the British and Swedish royal families and other famous guests, Klosters is well-known around the world as a holiday destination. A fact that many forget is the American high society with representatives from the film, music, theatre and literature scene frequented the place as early as the 1950s. So many celebrities came that the village was nicknamed "Hollywood on the Rocks". Famous visitors include stars such as Paul Newman, Greta Garbo and Gene Kelly. Come along on this fascinating journey of discovery and join Clair Southwell for afternoon tea and travel back in time. The native English resident of Klosters and former assistant to the Prince of Wales will pass on anecdotes about the many famous guests who have visited the village. Listen to Clair’s amusing stories and view images of watercolours by Prince Charles demonstrating his passion for the mountains around Davos Klosters.
